Roni Deutsch Offers Tax Tips on Media Tour

Saving is a must during these uncertain times. Famed tax lawyer Roni Deutsch has been touring the radio and television stations to offer free tips to taxpayers on the best way to save their money on taxes. She recently wrote a book entitled “The Tax Lady’s Guide To Beating The IRS And Saving Big Bucks On Your Taxes.”

During a Wall Street interview with host Kelsey Hubbard, Roni Deutsch advised taxpayers to be educated about taxes and not to fear the IRS. If taxpayers made W-2 adjustments alone, they can save as much as $2,500 a year. Roni Deutsch explained: “70% of Americans receive a refund check averaging $2,500, every year. All you have to do is adjust your W2. Why are you giving the IRS a $2,500, interest-free loan, when you can keep that $200 touring or $300 per month right now? It’s that easy.” Since the start of tax season, Roni Deutsch frequented CNBC’s “On the Money” where she gave away simple tax filing tips. Filing errors are a common occurrence but the best way to handle this is to act immediately upon discovery. When making mistakes in filing taxes, one should immediately file an amended return if you reported filing status, dependents, total income, deductions or credits incorrectly.
